Why use a Grit Guard?

When you dip your wash mitt into the water and rub it on the Grit Guard, the fibers of the mitt are agitated, and the dirt collected in it loosens. The coarse dirt, dangerous for the paintwork, is filtered out by the insert and collected at the bottom of the bucket.

How it works

The grit guard, with its four divided chambers, ensures that dirt is not swirled back up. When re-dipping with the wash mitt, the previously separated dirt is not picked up again. This reduces the risk of leaving scratches on your paintwork.

The Grit Guard was specially designed for this wash bucket. Thanks to its flexible, outwardly splayed feet, the Grit Guard clamps itself securely and precisely to the bottom of the bucket.
